Rest is a Radical Act: Restorative and Sound Bath with Brenna Matthews

Is your nervous system in need of a long hug?

This offering will aim to provide just that. You can expect extended time in deeply supportive, prop heavy, floor based shapes aimed to offer some down regulation for our often over- stimulated systems and a closing sound bath at the end of practice.

Especially now, our bodies are feeling the prolonged states of unease and stress. In order to meet the moment with care, we must rest. Not as an escape, but as a space to remember our humanity, to move beyond the reactive ego-mind, and connect with the boundless space of the heart.

As a way to make this practice more accessible to those marginalized and therefore in greater need, it will be offered on a sliding scale. If you are able to pay more to provide community care for another, please do. If finances are a barrier, please receive the support.

This workshop is offered as part of a two workshop Winter Self Care Mini-Retreat.
Winter Lung Care - Sunday 3/16 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
