OUR CLASSES
Our diverse and highly skilled teaching team offers a variety of styles of classes - from heat building vinyasa flow, to structural alignment, to nervous system nourishing restorative - to meet you where you're at in your yoga practice.
-
MIXED LEVELS
This flow-based (vinyasa) styled class unites movement and form. Designed for new and experienced students alike, classes are intended to be vigorous, yet made accessible with a variety of options within poses. Expect to engage in dynamic movement with integrated deep, long holds. This style of yoga builds core power, stretches, strengthens and cleanses the body, and offers the opportunity for deep healing and release. Our intent in all our classes is to build a non-competitive environment where students are invited to move at their own pace.
-
HEATED FLOW
Much like our Mixed Levels classes, this vinyasa based class balances effort, awareness and breath. Practicing in a heated room allows and encourages heavier sweating to flush toxins from the system and wring out the stress. Heating the room to match our internal body temperature provides added safety by warming the muscle tissue and can further enhance neurological, cardiovascular, digestive, and immune function.
-
SLOW FLOW
This class offers a mindful slow flow to give students the opportunity to experience a Mixed Levels vinyasa style practice at an intentionally slower pace. Explore meditative movement through postures to help unravel embodied stress and tension and build familiarity with yoga postures, breath capacity, and stamina.
This class is recommended for beginners, those returning to their practice, and those looking to take things slow.
-
FLOW & RESTORE
Mindful slow flow meets restorative yoga in this nourishing class. The first half of the class explores meditative movement through postures to help unravel embodied stress and tension. The second half of class winds down with postures that facilitate rest and stillness.
As with any class, students are encouraged to adapt the pacing and postures to their own practice in pursuit of cultivating ease and relaxation, whether that means interpreting the teacher’s guidance with more vigor or more gentleness.
-
FLOW & RESTORE WITH SINGING BOWLS
Similar to Flow & Restore, this nourishing class integrates mindful slow flowing vinyasa with restorative yoga. The first half of the class explores meditative movement through postures to help unravel embodied stress and tension. The second half of class winds down with postures that facilitate rest and stillness for deep relaxation, during which the instructor provides an instrumental sound meditation.
As with any class, students are encouraged to adapt the pacing and postures to their own practice in pursuit of cultivating ease and relaxation, whether that means interpreting the teacher’s guidance with more vigor or more gentleness.
-
SLOW FLOW & ROLL
Roll over, then flow in. In this class we will use a combination of slow flow yoga, massage therapy balls, and breathwork to observe our practice with more subtlety. We will explore where we might unknowingly be holding patterns of deep tension that prevent us from true ease and freedom. We will then work therapeutically to help improve both mobility and stability and alleviate pain. Expect to activate the body in a strong yet gentle way with movement, as well as linger for longer periods with the massage balls to give our muscles, connective tissues, and our mind a place to reset and find sustainable balance.
Livestream participants can use available home props such as tennis balls, dryer balls, small cans, etc...
-
YIN YOGA
In this style of yoga, practitioners use props to set up the body in poses that last several minutes and do not require muscular effort, but do elicit a mild, sustainable sensation. Yin Yoga supports the hydration and overall health of the fascia, the connective tissue that wraps everything in the body. This is a slow practice that invites practitioners to sit with and react with compassion to emotions, thoughts, and memories that present themselves.
Livestream participants would ideally have 2 blocks, yoga strap, 3 blankets, and a bolster, but can use home props such as pillows, towels, and blankets.
-
RESTORATIVE YOGA
In this restorative practice, students will remain in a series of restful postures for several minutes with the comfort of props to support them in the shape. More attention is placed on the facilitation of stillness for deep relaxation, muscular release, increased breath capacity, and the quieting of the mind.
Livestream participants would ideally have 2 blocks, yoga strap, 2 blankets, and a bolster, but can use home props such as pillows, towels, and blankets.
-
RESTORATIVE WITH ACUPUNCTURE
In this restorative practice, students will remain in a series of restful postures for a few minutes with the comfort of props to support them. Students will have the option to receive acupuncture to support the body’s rest and rejuvenation from our in house acupuncturist, Rana Hamdan.
Livestream participants would ideally have 2 blocks, yoga strap, 2 blankets, and a bolster, but can use home props such as pillows, towels, and blankets.
-
PRENATAL YOGA
This class is designed to support the body during pregnancy, with a focus on aleviating common pregnancy-related ailments. The combination of seated, kneeling, and standing poses helps strengthen the lower body and lungs, while also promoting space and stability in the pelvis, torso, and spine. Restorative postures provide support, encourage focus on the breath, and bring calmness to the mind, while offering a chance to bond with the baby. Participants at any stage of pregnancy are welcome to join, and are encouraged to share a bit about themselves and their experiences during an opening check-in circle.
-
YOGA FOR HEALTHY AGING & RECOVERY
Explore the movements of traditional yoga with modifications suited to a mature body. This class offers a longer warm up, along with postures that strengthen bone, stretch muscle, and enhance balance. All combined with structured breathing exercises.
While designed to serve the needs of the older student of yoga, this class is open to all who are interested in a gentle styled practice.
-
YOGA FOR STRENGTH & STABILITY
Discover many similar components of a traditional yoga class with the combination of strength and stability building. This class contains poses with longer holds and may include using an array of props to foster a further understanding of each posture offered. Some “non-yoga” moves from modalities like Pilates, generalized fitness, and basic physical recovery techniques may also be applied while taking this class. This class is intended for all levels and all bodies that have a basic understanding of yoga postures.
-
RANGE CONDITIONING YOGA
This class focuses on improving the health and longevity of your joints. Utilizing concepts from Functional Range Conditioning "FRC", isolate specific joints to improve their function, range, and capacity to bear load (weight). The work involved doesn't always look like the postural practice of yoga we are used to, but the increased stability and range of motion will impact your yoga practices significantly. The structure of the class will highlight FRC techniques and will fold those into a postural practice to allow the work to land through the lens of Asana (i.e yoga postures).
-
CORE FLOW
Core Flow classes are a blend of Yoga and Pilates and have a strong emphasis on the abdominals, back, and pelvic floor muscles. There will be traditional and non-traditional Pilates exercises and yoga poses, to encourage multiplanar movement in order to build postural awareness.
Core Flow consists of poses and transitions to strengthen the musculature supporting the spine and will often incorporate various balancing poses. Class may include an energizing or calming pranayama (breathwork) so it's recommended, like with all of our classes, to practice on either an empty stomach, or after a very light snack.
-
IYENGAR YOGA
Iyengar Yoga is a systematic alignment based approach to unlocking greater focus, vitality, and freedom within our lives through asana and pranayama. Classes explore the Iyengar method of building a powerful yoga practice based on timeless foundational principles. You will learn how to unblock chronic areas of physical tightness (knees, hips, back, neck, and shoulders) through intelligent sequencing that will give us greater overall flexibility and freedom.
-
FUNDAMENTALS OF ALIGNMENT
Covering the foundations of a yoga practice, Fundamentals of Alignment focuses on how to engage each yoga posture in the safest and most effective manner in order to receive the optimal benefits. This class is recommended for beginners, as well as those interested in understanding and engaging with their practice at a deeper level.
-
ADVANCED PRACTICE
This class is intended for those who are interested in taking a deeper dive into practice, with an emphasis on the work that lifts us up collectively and individually. Through building greater ranges of mobility and strength, and expanding on our understanding of biomechanical alignment, this class will focus on more complex variations of backbends, inversions, twists, forward folds and arm balances. Each class will begin with a theme and end with meditation.
-

$6 COMMUNITY CLASS
This class is taught by graduates of the JPCY teacher training and is similar in structure to our Mixed Levels classes. Gathered in community, you can expect to mindfully explore your individual edge as we strengthen our bodies, expand our hearts and free our mind.
While all our classes are offered with tiered pricing (promoting financially accessibility and community care), the cost of this class is further reduced to $6 for everyone, therefore no other discounts apply.
