Getting Reacquainted with Touch: Hands-On Adjustments Review

Join Ame Wren for a special workshop reviewing the hands-on adjustments we’ve practiced without during the pandemic.

It may have been a while since you've given or received an assist in a yoga class. Now that we are once again re-acclimating to a new normal, as a teacher you might feel you need a refresher course on adjustments and how they can be most beneficial. As a student, you might wonder why teachers do what they do with their hands and also crave the adjustments we've all missed during the pandemic.

This workshop is open to both teachers and experienced students alike and will be a thorough review of why we use our hands to communicate and how to see bodies in space so that our hands are most helpful. Hands-on adjustments span a spectrum of informative to energetic and we will practice many different kinds of assists.

PRE-REQUISITES | At least 3 years of yoga practice and familiarity with yoga adjustments (as a teacher or a student), willingness to both give and receive touch.
