Transforming the Mind Through Contemplation

Join Noel Coakley (he/him) of the Boston Center for Contemplative Practice for a two session workshop on contemplation

Designed for those who are new to meditation and for experienced practitioners alike, this mini-course will explore the power of contemplation.

Contemplation generally refers to a type of meditation that involves prolonged and deep reflection on a specific topic or object. It can involve actively  contemplating or focusing on an idea, emotion, or object, or simply being present and open to whatever thoughts or feelings arise. The aim of contemplation is to gain deeper insight or understanding, and it is often used as a means of cultivating wisdom, compassion, and other positive qualities.

This course offers a holistic approach to mindfulness and self-discovery, providing a variety of meditation practices and  teachings to support your personal growth and development within the context of a safe and supportive practice community.

This workshop is part of an eight sections comprehensive course - learn more about the upcoming sections!
