REBECCA PEYEV (she/her)

I love yoga. Yoga has been such a stabilizing influence in my life for the past 30 plus years, I cannot imagine my life without it. I have experimented with many different types of yoga such as, Hatha, Kripalu, Baptiste, Ashtanga, Iyengar and even Kundalini. As my life got busier and I got older, Vinyasa became the perfect balance. Yoga influences my physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies in such positive ways. That’s what has kept me returning to my mat after all these years.

In January 2014, I completed my 200 hours at Prana Power Yoga and have been teaching ever since. I completed my 300 hours with Jacqui Bonwell in 11/2018. It is an honor to share this thousand year old practice with others as a teacher. Through teaching, I hope to guide students to a place where they can find their own unique bond with yoga as I have. I am inspired by yoga itself and by the many fabulous teachers I have worked with who humble me. I have also been a nurse anesthetist for most of those 30 plus years, as well as a mother, wife and pet owner.

What to Expect from My Classes

My classes are breath focused, alignment conscious, energetic and fun. I plan my sequences to methodically open the body, create equal length and equal strength. I enjoy doing physical assist and reiki energy during class. After my class you should feel energized and refreshed. Your heart will be open and your mind centered.
