PATRICIA SHEFFIELD (she/her)
I started practicing Yoga about 20 years ago. I was an employee at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, at the time, and took advantage of the corporate gym membership at Fitcorp. I found yoga classes to be a great tool to help with the stress of the work world and life, at large.
Over the years, I have engaged in various fitness activities. Aqua Aerobics became a particular favorite. I obtained certification with the USWF Association and have been teaching for over 15 years.
I retired from my career in 2019. A friend convinced me to apply for a yoga teacher training scholarship, believing I would excel as a yoga instructor. The teacher training experience was amazing. It spoke to my passion for movement and wellness. I value the philosophy of uniting mind and body to calm the mind.
Beyond my teaching career, I remain deeply committed to my personal fitness journey. In addition to yoga, I practice hot Pilates and work out with a personal trainer weekly.
I aim for my students to feel relaxed and strong in their bodies.
