Join us for a monthly meeting to discuss books that can further our path of self-discovery.
Whether you’re an experienced yoga practitioner or have never stepped foot on a mat, these community gatherings provide opportunities to explore the teachings of yoga, Buddhism, modern day psychology and physiology, as well as books categorized as “self-help”. All in a relaxed and compassionate setting.
This event is free and open to the public. Registration is appreciated for our preparation of the space, but not required!
Our first book will be Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse.
If you’ve read the book before or if you’re brand new to it, there is another level of learning and connection that happens when we come together to share ideas and reflections. We learn as much from one another as we do from the book itself.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This book club will be facilitated by Cornelia Hoskin, a longtime JPCY member and avid reader, through discussion guiding questions, and co-created by the community through agreements, a centering practice, and book selection after the first three meetings.
