Join Nina Reis, licensed acupuncturist and yoga teacher, for a specialized workshop devoted to releasing long-standing tension, muscular imbalances and acute pain. We will focus on restoring a more flexible, functional body for your yoga practice and your general well-being.
We’ll play with slow flow yoga practices for a calming effect and work therapeutically with tennis balls for myofascial release. Winter practices are all about tending the soil of our body, breath and mind so that we can emerge and materialize in Spring.
You will receive a packet detailing myofascial release techniques, acupressure points and therapeutic exercises for your home practice.
Students should be able to recline on their back, side and belly comfortably.
