Pregnant folks and their partners are invited to join a 90-minute workshop of shared movement, shared breath, and loving touches.
Jill will guide participants through solo and tandem asana and pranayama designed primarily to benefit the child-bearing yogi. Movement sequences will be broken up with guidance for the supporting partner, who will learn to apply hands-on support: soothing holds, rhythmic rocks, and counter-pressure techniques. Some partners like to take these techniques into early labor.
The session will end with a guided relaxation and an extra-cushy restorative savasana.
All genders and pairings are heartily welcomed (family members, friends, or other birth team supporters can be partners, too!)
