ANAHI CORONADO (she/her)

Yoga helped me reconnect with my body. I began practicing regularly during the pandemic, adding it to my routine as a way to enhance my flexibility. To my surprise, when my teacher instructed us to “feel your big toe,” I realized I couldn’t. That moment sparked my awareness and ignited my passion for yoga.

Through yoga, I rediscovered movements I hadn’t explored in years and became attuned to parts of my body I had forgotten. Two years later, I completed my 200-hour teacher training at Boston Yoga School under Ame Wren, with guidance from Sara Basile and Johnathon Holmes. I continue to draw inspiration from them, as well as from Andrea Fotopoulos and Jill Rodgers.

I approach yoga in diverse ways, focusing on the connection between breath and movement, fostering awareness, exploration, mobility, and functional movement. My aim is to help others enhance their daily lives as we grow older.

I view yoga as a powerful tool for body awareness, allowing me to explore my body’s resilience through mindful and playful movement.

What You Can Expect From My Classes

My hope is for you to find a space where you can slow down, connect with yourself and your body, and explore mindful movement. Together, we’ll embrace a slow, intentional practice that brings awareness to your body, incorporating mobility and functional movements to enhance our daily lives.

I offer modifications and hands-on assists for those who are comfortable, as well as the use of props, ensuring that people of all ages and journeys feel welcome. My aim is for you to leave each class with a greater sense of mental clarity and a deeper understanding of your own body.
